Our Locations: Several factors combine to make the Puget Sound area one of the best areas in the country for flight training: -The terrain is extremely varied, with mountains and ocean being separated by only minutes of flying. With downtown Seattle, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and Puget Sound only minutes away, there are few more beautiful places in the world to learn to fly. -The weather in Seattle is mild in general, with perfect flying weather for many months of the year. In the winter months, the weather here is not nearly as foul as most people have been led to believe. Many days are still good for flying, and your skills will be improved greatly as you learn to deal with more adverse weather conditions like rain and wind without being thrown in to the harsher winter conditions found in most parts of the United States. -Our locations at Boeing Field, Tacoma Narrows, and Paine Field are at towered airports, and thereby provide an exciting traffic environment for students to learn in. You will also learn how to operate in and around class B airspace because of our proximity to SeaTac International Airport. You will gain a lot of experience with Air Traffic Control, and through that, be a more confident and employable pilot.
